15 speakers with different backgrounds will take the stage at TEDx Trento on 25 November at the Teatro Sociale. The 2017 edition is entitled FARE: Fidati, Agisci, Rischia, Esplora (Do: trust, act, risk, explore). Four conjugations making up a single verb that are a testimony to the commitment and creative force of innovators.
Originating in California some thirty years ago, the TED conferences have spread around the world, keeping the name TED followed by an x and the city hosting the conference. Their success undoubtedly owes a lot to the clear and capitivating format, but even more to the messages and to the stimulating environment we experience at a TEDx event. Because TEDx is a great tool for social innovation through the presentation of projects, of new trends, of research results, and of science and technology, with personal testimony, and with new ways of looking at the world and at life. The format is for a short talk of up to 18 minutes. These talks are “Ideas Worth Spreading”, the motto of TED.
But TED is not just the events; it also spreads itself across the world through TED Talks online on www.ted.com: a huge store of innovation, with new additions daily from all around the world, and all free and available with just a click.
